OBSERVED PATTERNS
SUMO SAGE
Heed the advice "Until work is finished, don't talk about it."

During discussions we speak of goals which should be focused on years later. discussions make us believe we have achieved what we wanted to. And when dragged back to the present, where the task still needs work, we lose motivation.

Some say "it makes us accountable" but I am yet to witness that, it adds expectations which make it harder to flexibly do what we truly wanted to. We become busy fulfilling expectations.

I feel discussions make us despise the journey which is what we are supposed to love.
